PROJECT : AMR VOICE

On  3rd of May , 2025, The DMC AMR Club, with technical support of Devdaha Medical College and Research Institute, successfully held its first community outreach event under "PROJECT: AMR VOICE." The  program was organized in collaboration with the Kunwarwati Mahila Jagaran Samuha in Tilottama-11, Rupandehi, engaging nearly 30 participants.
The event featured:
* A drama raising awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
* An informative session on AMR
* Blood pressure measurements for the participants.
The program was skillfully coordinated by: Jyoti Pandey , Subheksha Bhandari , Deepa Neupane  and Subodh Bhatta

On June 5, 2025 "WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY" 🌲 🌍
Our club successfully conducted an important session with title, "AMR and Environment" A session focusing on the environmental aspects of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) was held in Kanchanrup-8, Saptari, with 48 participants in attendance." The  session was very  successful and  was expertly coordinated by our President: Aarab Tiwari

WALK THE TALK

On 20th February 2025 , The walk the talk was organized in presence of  Mr. Madhusudan Kaphle (Founder, Nymat Nepal) and Ms. Sadikshya Sapkota (President, Nymat Nepal) The walk the talk was conducted  around the devdaha medical college area involving youths of devdaha medical college .The event was overall a great success

WORK SHOP

on 1st march 2025 work shop was sucessfully conducted in Devdaha medical College on AMR on the inititation of Nymat Nepal. Thanks  to our patron Mr. Madhusudan Kaphle and President of Nymat Nepal Miss.Sadikshya Sapkota  for making this event happen, Grace presence of members of the Dmc Amr Club added a spark. We are deeply indebt toward the Devdaha Medical College for providing the venue and technical support

On December 6, 2025, the DMC AMR CLUB officially launched its New  initiative

"COMMUNITY CONNECT."

The inaugural session took place in Tillotama-6, Rupandehi, drawing a group of 21 engaged participants, including local residents and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs).

The program focused on raising awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the Red Line Campaign. The event was a resounding success, characterized by insightful reflections and active community participation. The idea  was introduced and session was skillfully coordinated by two of our creative and hardworking members:  Jyoti Pandey &  Subheksha Bhandari

"Our involvement in the AMR and environment project included participating in a Photovoice initiative to document our findings." 

In honor of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) 2025, the DMC AMR Club officially inaugurated its flagship initiative, "AMR Ghar-Dailo." This door-to-door outreach program was designed to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and community action. During the visits, our team provided residents with a foundational understanding of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and emphasized the strategic importance of the Redline Campaign in promoting responsible antibiotic stewardship.

The project was coordinated by : Shikshya Neupane,Subash Khanal,Samikshya Poudel and Abhash Khadka 

The inaugural session for our new initiative,

"PROJECT: MASS ADVOCACY,"

was successfully conducted on October 14, 2025, marking a pivotal step for advocacy in East Rukum .

Held in close collaboration with the Pwang Health Post at Sisne-02, Rukum (East),

the session brought together 17 key stakeholders. This diverse group included:

-Six Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs)

-One Public Health Inspector (PHI)

Three Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs)

-A ward member

- few  community participants

The session was notably productive, with all stakeholders expressing great enthusiasm for exploring the new topic. The proceedings were skillfully facilitated by one of our team's most consistent and dedicated members :  Saru Budha Magar

On October 15, 2025,

the second session of our new  initiative

"PROJECT: MASS ADVOCACY"

In collobaration with National Youth Coalition against Anti Microbial Resistance was successfully held in Kanchanrup Municipality, Kanchanpur, Saptari.

The session was attended by a host of distinguished dignitaries, including the

- The Municipal Mayor.

- The Deputy Mayor.

-Ward Chairpersons from all the wards. -Municipal Cabinet Members.

Due to recent GEN-Z  protest All the Projectors and other technical equipments were  destroyed  so  the  session took place  in traditional Method.

The session proceeded seamlessly, marked by the active participation of all attendees. The dignitaries shared their valuable insights and universally commended the efforts of the DMC AMR Club for launching such meaningful advocacy activities.

The program concluded on a high note, characterized by positive feedback and strong encouragement for the continuation of similar awareness initiatives in the future.

On October 16, 2025,

A School Health Project on DENGUE Was conducted for  students of grade 10 at Apex School in Tilottama-1 Shankarnagar, Rupandehi.

The session was both highly interactive and incredibly informative, with students demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and active participation.

Participants were rewarded with candy as a token of our thanks. It was a truly rewarding experience to share vital insights and significantly enhance dengue awareness.

This successful event was expertly coordinated by our members: Shikshya Neupane , Prashna KC , Subash Khanal  Darshika Karki

PROJECT : MASS ADVOCACY

ON 25 OCTOBER 2025,

DMC AMR Club successfully conducted a high-impact Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) advocacy session at Lamahi 4 Bhaiskorma, Dang.

The session was honored by the participation of the Community Head (Mukhiya) and was executed in fruitful collaboration with the Siddhababa Khari Bakhara Palan Samuha. The 25 total attendees demonstrated immense enthusiasm, engaging actively with the crucial topics presented.

We are deeply encouraged by the community's appreciation for the DMC AMR Club's initiative, reflecting a shared commitment to addressing AMR.

On November 10, 2025, the DMC AMR Club  with technical support of Devdaha Medical College and Research Institute, Distributed  the certificates from Phase One of the Youth Against AMR  Campaign.

​Special thanks to our  esteemed Advisor Dinesh Darnal  sir and the Public Relations Officer of  DMCRI Hira Lal Dhami  sir for honoring us with their presence. 

The  event was  concluded with the  distribution of official logo mobile phone  sticker to our participants.
